Investments

Wealthier and more sophisticated investors often wish to be actively involved in the investments made for their long-term future. This can result in them holding a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity and alternative investments, such as hedge funds or commodities.

As investment portfolios grow, it can become harder to keep up with the resulting administrative and tax complications, especially if active involvement is maintained.

Your Personal Wealth Report

Our team can help you to track all of your existing investments, by providing clear and concise reports, which will give you an ‘at a glance’ overview of performance. As your portfolio expands, we can integrate any new investments to ensure you can measure the investment performance of your whole portfolio.

Our Asset Allocation Report would include:

Valuation Update - providing detailed valuations of your investments taken out through St. James's Place (directly or indirectly), percentage performance since outset and last report.

Overview Matrix – bringing together all of your financial information in a figurative format, to give you an executive summary of your portfolio.

Charts - showing your asset allocation visually broken down in to several levels, including currency of denomination, along with the figures that drive the charts, allowing you to assess long term and short term exposure, analyse asset classes and currency exposure.

Income projections – showing a conservative estimate of what your investment assets could provide you with in real terms, i.e. after the impact of inflation, without eating into your capital. This section also shows the benefits of tax structuring to make use of all the available tax allowances - ultimately it is your net returns that you will be spending and not your gross.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested. The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time and are dependent on individual circumstances.
